Requirements on nationality

Requirements of the regulations set in the Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC should be met.

(1) Applicants who have given up their original Chinese citizenship and become foreign citizens, must become foreign citizens before July 30, 2019, and must have lived abroad more than 2 years from July 30, 2019 to July 30, 2023 (more than 9 months of residence abroad per year can be considered as one year, taking entry and exit stamps as evidence).

(2) If the applicant has acquired foreign citizenship automatically at the time of birth in a foreign country, whose parents were both Chinese citizens, or one of the parents was a Chinese citizen, parent’s (with Chinese citizenship) permanent resident in foreign country should be obtained prior to the birth of the applicant. Applicants must have lived abroad more than 2 years from July 30, 2019 to July 30, 2023(more than 9 months of residence abroad per year can be considered as one year, taking entry and exit stamps as evidence).

*11. Postgraduate school transcript

Transcript in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
Graduating high school students can provide pre-graduation Certificate. After admission, the original graduation certificate or notarized copy should be submitted.

*13. 2 letters of recommendation

Written in English from two respectable professors. including professors' contact no, email address and handwritten signature
