Program Description
International Business studies the laws and practices of international business activities such as international trade, international investment, and multinational enterprise operation, relates closely to international economics and trade, international finance, business administration and logistics management, and has the characteristics of typical interdisciplinary programs. In terms of cultivation of master degree students, this program requires equal emphasis on theoretical study and off-campus practice teaching, emphasizes the use of advanced teaching concepts and methods such as team learning, case studies and field survey, and focuses on the development of macroscopic thinking, expanded application of economic theory and operational skills in international business relations. This program has formed a faculty with high teaching and research levels and a reasonable age structure during the long-term teaching and research practice, has been engaged in theoretical and applied research of international business and its related disciplines for a long time, and has achieved a series of high-quality research results in import and export trade, regional economic cooperation, international direct investment and international logistics management. Currently, this program has 22 instructors, including 11 professors, 5 associate professors and 19 teachers with a doctorate, and has employed 8 part-time instructors from enterprises and institutions. This program cultivates high-level, application-oriented, versatile talents in modern international business with good professional ethics and sense of social responsibility, international vision, knowledge of basic theories of modern international business and professional skills in international business, equipped with strong cross-cultural communication skills and international business decision-making ability, competent in international trade, international investment and financing, international business operation and international enterprise management in foreign-related enterprises, financial institutions, government departments, etc., and with the ability of management execution, information processing, innovation and entrepreneurship.
