Objectives of Study: This major aims at cultivating international and applied talents fully developed in virtue, intelligence, body and aesthetic with international vision, strong financial knowledge and heritage, generous economic and professional theory as well as good professional skills to master modern methods of economic analysis, familiar with international business models, have strong English communication skills so that they can work in government sectors, foreign trade enterprises and foreign financial institutions engaged in practical operation and research.

Core courses: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Principle of Management Science, Principles of Accounting, International Economics, International Trade Practice, International Marketing, International Business Law, International Trade Finance, Supply Management Chain & Purchase

Major practice part: Professional practice, Social skills, Business-Basic Training, Subject&major course practice, Comprehensive experimental, Graduate practice and Graduate project(paper)

Employment prospects: International trade personnel (freight forwarders, documents, customs declaration, inspection); Financial/insuranceinvestments; International market research, planning, and supporting work in international trade dispute mediation; Primary financial work or business management in various overseas-related enterprises and institutions; International trade and economics management in the relative departments of the government; Or establishing international trade companies after getting familiar with the business.

3.Applicants who have one of the following circumstances must hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for at least 4 years, and have resided abroad for at least 2 years in the past 4 years (before April 30 of the enrollment year) before submitting their application as an international student:

Born in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan, and acquired foreign nationality

If both parents (or one of them) are Chinese citizens and reside in a foreign country, the applicant himself/herself has foreign nationality from the time of birth.

English-taught programs: IELTS (academic) 5.5 or TOEFL IBT 72 or above.

Police Clearance Certificate issued by local government or Character Certificate by the school with a recent date.

A preparatory English course shall be taken at his/her expense if one doesn’t pass the English level test after registration at SDJU.

Must be in Chinese or English, stamped by the High school and signed by the High school’s headmaster. Translated Copy must be notarized.
