1. Program Introduction

The goal of master program is to provide students with three years of training focused on international trade theory, policy and affairs, to provide students with a platform to develop international trade skills and knowledge necessary. After graduation, graduates with full ability are eligible to work in various areas such as multinational corporations, financial institutions, government agencies, academic organizations.

According to ZZU's relevant regulations, the master of international trade may be completed within 2-3 years. If necessary, students can apply for prolonging length of time, no more than two years.

Each student in this program should complete at least 26 credits of course work and 18 credits of Thesis work. credits of course including: 4 credits in three basic courses, 4 credits in three core courses, 4 credits of two field courses, 3 credits of Research Project and Practice, and 11 credits of elective courses.

3. Department of International Economics and Trade Introduction

Editor Notes: The graduates of this department have attained extensive social recognition, some of them started their own business and went very well and some were promoted to high-rank positions soon after graduation.

The Department of International Economics and Trade belongs toSchoolofBusiness, the largest school in Arts which offers seven 4-year undergraduate programs, two first-level-discipline master-degree programs and 14 second-level-discipline master programs, and another three programs for professional degree.

This department aims at training professionals with solid knowledge of basic principles of Economics, basic theories of international economics and trade, rules and practices of international trade and investment, andChina’s foreign trade policies and situations, as well as strong ability to deal with international business.

Now there are 14 full-time teachers in the department, including 1 professor and 9 associate professors and 4 lecturers. All of them like their teaching jobs and are friendly to their students.

International trade and policywas granted the honor of model English course for postgraduate students by Zhengzhou University.

4. Introduction of Zhengzhou University

1. Candidate should be a Non-Chinese citizen, under 40 years old, the Bachelor degree holder, healthy, with non-criminal record. 
2. English language requirements: for candidates from non-English spoken countries applying for EMI (English Mediated Instruction) programs, their minimum IELTS score should reach 6.5 or TOEFL score reach 90 (IBT), or equivalent. 
3. Specific requirements for individual academic Schools may vary by board and subjects taken. You are advised to check with your prospective school or supervisor.

It must be issued by your local police station with official stamp.

8. The Valid Report of English Language Proficiency Tests

If you do not have IELTS or TOEFL, please provide an official certificate issued by your high school which should certify that the medium of instruction in your high school study is English

*9. Two Letters of Recommendation from Professors or Associate Professors

10. Supporting Documents: Certificate of Good Conduct
