The goal of master program is to provide students with three years of training focused on international trade theory, policy and affairs, to provide students with a platform to develop international trade skills and knowledge necessary. After graduation, graduates with full ability are eligible to work in various areas such as multinational corporations, financial institutions, government agencies, academic organizations.
According to ZZU's relevant regulations, the master of international trade may be completed within 2-3 years. If necessary, students can apply for prolonging length of time, no more than two years.
Each student in this program should complete at least 26 credits of course work and 18 credits of Thesis work. credits of course including: 4 credits in three basic courses, 4 credits in three core courses, 4 credits of two field courses, 3 credits of Research Project and Practice, and 11 credits of elective courses.

The Department of International Economics and Trade belongs toSchoolofBusiness, the largest school in Arts which offers seven 4-year undergraduate programs, two first-level-discipline master-degree programs and 14 second-level-discipline master programs, and another three programs for professional degree.
This department aims at training professionals with solid knowledge of basic principles of Economics, basic theories of international economics and trade, rules and practices of international trade and investment, andChina’s foreign trade policies and situations, as well as strong ability to deal with international business.
