Program Description
Training objectives: Students acquire knowledge regarding architectural design, urban planning, urban design, interior design, architectural engineering design through systematic learning, accept basic training on architectural design, and have basic competence in project planning, building scheme design and construction drawings. This program aims to cultivate senior engineering and technical personnel engaged in architectural design, urban design, interior design and architectural theory research.
Main courses: Fundamentals of Architectural Design, Principles of Architectural Design, Architectural Design, Chinese and Foreign Architecture History, Urban Design, Interior Design, Architectural Physics, Architectural Structure, Architectural Construction, Construction Equipment, Construction Economics, Computer-aided Design, etc.
Courses with Chinese Cultural Characteristics: Chinese traditional writing, Chinese cooking, Chinese diet and culture, Chinese mask-painting, paper-cut, teaism, Tai Chi, Chinese martial, traditional musical instrument, the appreciation of Chinese traditional architecture, etc.
Employment Orientation: After graduation, students can work in the departments of architectural design, planning design and management, or building research institute, real estate enterprises and other enterprises and organizations related to the architectural design, city design, and interior design.
