It's a major discipline of Beijing municipal level which cultivates senior talents engaging in theoretical and policy research, especially urban construction management, covering such fields as project management, project risk management, project financial management, construction project law and contract management, tender management, economic and technical analysis of real estate project, decision support system (DSS), technological economy, urban digitalization, informatization of construction field, renewable energy utilization and building energy conservation.
The programs has four research fields: Project Management, Real Estate Operation and Management, Project Law and Contract Management, and Circular Economy and Sustainable Development of Construction Industry.
1. Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens who are in good health and hold a valid ordinary foreign passport.
If the applicant has foreign nationality at birth but does not have Chinese nationality since both or one of the parents of the applicant are Chinese citizens and reside in a foreign country; or if the applicant is a mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan resident who have immigrated and acquired the foreign nationality, should hold valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for more than 4 years (inclusive). The applicant must have resided in a foreign country for more than 2 years in the recent 4 years (before April 30 of the year of admission) (the actual residing in a foreign country for more than 9 months in a year can be counted as one year, subject to the entry and exit signature).
2. Applicants for master's degree generally shall be no more than 35 years old (as of September 1, 2022).
3. Applicants for master's degree shall have obtained bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Note:
(1) The major of Architecture accepts candidates majoring in Architecture, Historic Building conservation Engineering, urban planning, Landscape architecture Design, Industrial Design and Art Design. The research direction of Architectural Technology science under the major of Architecture of the School of Architecture only accepts candidates majoring in Architecture and civil Engineering. Architectural Heritage Conservation Accepts candidates majoring in architecture, historic building conservation engineering, urban planning, landscape architecture design, and cultural heritage conservation.
(2) The major of Urban and Rural Planning accepts candidates majoring in urban planning, Architecture and Landscape architecture.
(3) The major of Landscape Architecture accepts candidates majoring in Landscape Architecture, Art Design, horticulture, landscape Architecture, landscape Architecture, and urban planning.
(4) Design Majors accept candidates majoring in Design, Art Design, Landscape Design, fine arts, Architecture, Industrial arts, Exhibition Art and Technology, Public Art, and Landscape Architecture.
(5) Master's degree students majoring in Architecture, Architectural Heritage Conservation, Urban and Rural Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Design are not allowed to apply from different majors.
4. Master's degree and PhD are full-time education. Once applicants enroll, it is not allowed to do the internship or work except for academic requirements by BUCEA. Once a violation is found, student who refuses to change after admonition will be handled as withdrawing from university.
5. Applicants shall submit a HSK4 qualification certificate within valid period. Applicants who have taken all courses in Chinese during their bachelor's or master's degree studies are exempt from the HSK certificate requirement, if proof of teaching in Chinese from the graduated university is provided.

Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
To apply for a master’s program, applicants shall submit their undergraduate diploma or submit their pre-graduation certificates or certificate of enrollment issued by the school (they must get their undergraduate diploma before September 2022).
Transcript in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
To apply for a master’s program, the undergraduate students shall submit their academic transcripts during the academic years, and the graduated students shall submit their complete transcripts during the undergraduate period.
The Plan should be no less than 1,000 words, written in English.
