The objective of a Finance major is to equip our students with the analytical skills, practical experience, and global vision needed to meet the challenges and succeed in the banking and finance industry. Students will gain a deep understanding of the complex interrelationships among the world economies in terms of the flow of goods, services, and funds, the functions and operations of financial markets and institutions, and the interactions among them in a globalized context. 01 What will Finance major study (research)?
Finance is an applied science that deals with the allocation of scarce resources over time under conditions of uncertainties, with the allocation efficiency of capital and assets at its core. Broadly. there are two types of research, One is on corporate finance, namely, companies’ decisions on investment and financing, as well as issues such as liquidity and risk management, including research on financial intermediaries such as banks; and the other is on liquidity, pricing of risks and efficiency of capital markets (including stock, bond, and foreign exchange markets).
02 What are the core courses for Finance majors in their undergraduate education?
The core courses for Finance major in their undergraduate education include international financial management, the foundation of finance, investment analysis and portfolio management, corporate finance, and options and futures. The textbooks used are in sync with those of world-class universities and all courses are taught in English.
Applicants must have held a passport from a country or region other than Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan for a minimum of four years.

an overall score in the top 20%,

SAT Reasoning Test / ACT and SAT Subject Test / Advanced Placement (AP) Test Senior Secondary School Graduation Diploma / Certificate; and an overall total score of 1190 out of 1600 in SAT (from March 2016) / 1650 out of 2400 in SAT Reasoning Test (before March 2016) / a composite score of 24 in ACT; and a score of 600 each in 2 SAT Subject Tests / grade 3 each in 2 Advanced Placement (AP) Tests
