Program Description

OVERVIEW

As a student of the BA English and Communication Studies programme, you will have access to almost all of the modules offered in the Department of English and School of Film and TV Arts, across our specialist areas of English language and literature, and communication and media.

The unique level of choice and flexibility makes this programme ideal for both international and domestic students. Like our other English programmes, it has modules on translation and interpreting between English and Chinese, as well as a unique specialised module on literary translation. The programme’s flexible structure, however, means that these modules are not compulsory, allowing both international and domestic students to follow alternative routes.
