The first-levell discipline includes five second-level disciplines including “control theory and control engineering”, “detection technology and automatic equipment”, “system engineering”, “mode recognition and intelligent system” and “navigation, guidance and control”.  The discipline owns 1 key discipline of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and 2 key disciplines of Chongqing, owns 3 national level scientific research platforms, 4 ministerial and provincial level major laboratories and 4 ministerial and provincial level engineering research centers, the “Sino-Korea (Chongqing) ubiquitous network application technology research” built with Korea University obtains the continuous support of research fund of Korean government, and the college selects excellent students to learn in Korea free of charge;  Build “green science and technology associated research and development center” with the world top 500 enterprise – CISCO, associated research and develop the high-adaptability and multi-usage “Internet of Things” technology standard and product structure based on WSN, 3G and IPv6, and jointly propel the formulation of IETF standard;  Build “industrial communication technology research and development center” with Shenyang Institute of Automation Chinese Academy of Sciences;  Build “industrial Internet of Things collaborative innovation center” with Wuxi Internet of Things industry research institute, and provide 3,000,000 yuan for construction and cooperation research and development project of laboratory every year.

The discipline mainly includes networked control technology and application, Internet of Things theory and technology, electromechanical control technology, intelligent system and robot, embedded system and application, mode eecognition and intelligent control, detection technology and information fusion, complex system theory and application, electric system optimization and control and other research directions.  Over recent years, she has taken the lead in undertaking 3 specific projects of National Major Scientific and Technological Projects, one National 863 Project and one special project of "Made in China 202", and has undertaken over 40 National 863 Major Special Projects, Major National Science and Technology Projects, and National Natural Sciences Foundation Projects and provincial and ministerial key projects, with an accumulative total of nearly 100 million yuan of scientific research funds; has applied for or authorized more than 60 invention patents, won 20 provincial- ministerial level and above rewards for scientific research, and published more than 500 papers (over 200 articles by Top 3 Retrieval Systems). In the field of IoT, Industry 4.0 and intelligent manufacturing, it undertakes a series of important projects. The researches on industrial wireless, sensor network and IoT technologies are at the forefront of the world. Standards setting is synchronized with international trends. Patent protection groups have been formed to safeguard the core technologies.
