This major trains senior engineering and technical personnel in the field of machinery and equipment Automation control, so that it has the professional design and manufacturing, technology development, applied research, operational management and business marketing aspects of critical knowledge and basic skills.

In this major, mechanical technology and micro-electronics technology, information technology is combined with CNC technology. Computer control technology, testing and conversion technology, hydraulic and pneumatic automation control technology on machinery and equipment, based on the typical mechanical equipment and production line as a backdrop to describe the overall design method for mechanical manufacturing automation. And then it can enhance Automation control design capabilities. In this major it will learn basic theory of mechanical design and manufacturing, micro-electronics technology, computer technology, information technology, mechatronics, hydraulic and pneumatic transmission technology, machine tool numerical control technology and so on. Students will have basic training for modern engineers, and have the ability of automation and control of mechanical products design, manufacturing, production organization and management, and have the basic skills of strong ability of learning, research and innovation.

Graduates in this major are suitable for machinery and automation and other related businesses, research institutions engaged in design and manufacturing, research and development, production management, marketing, and so on. Mechanical design and manufacture and automation specialty trains mechanical design, manufacturing and automation of basic knowledge and application ability. • For Science and engineering programs, the scores of mathematics,physics and chemistry subject should be C at the minimum or 65% at the minimum.
• For economics and management programs, the scores of mathematics should be C at the minimum or 65% at the minimum.
• For medicine programs, the scores of mathematics,physics, chemistry and biology subjects should be C at the minimum or 65% at the minimum.
• English teachiing courses should provide TOEFL scord of 60 at the minimum, IELTS scores of 5.0 at the minimum, or proof English as learning or working language.
