Airport Code: WNZ Location: Situated in the Longwan District, Wenzhou Airport (also Yongqiang Airport) is 21.7 kilometers (13.5 miles) to the southeast of the city proper. Brief Intro: Established in 1990, Wenzhou Airport covers an area of 126.7 hectares (313 acres) including a 76 thousand square meters (18.8 acres) apron and 12 thousand square meters (3 acres) terminal building. Now, it has flights to Hong Kong and Macau as well as about 67 major mainland cities.  

Wenzhou, which translates to "a mild and pleasant land", derives its name from its climate, as it is neither extremely hot in summer nor extremely cold in the winter.

Baizhangji Waterfall & Flying Cloud Lake Scenic Area, covering a total area of 558.8 square kilometers (140,000 acres), is located in the southwestern part of Wenzhou. Listed as a National Key Scenic Area, it is renowned for its splendid waterfalls and beautiful lakes.
