Nanning Wuxu International Airport (NNG) is located in Wuxu Town, about 31 kilometers (19 miles) southwest from the city proper. Since its opening, this airport has reached a capacity of some 2.5 million passengers each year and can handle 15 large passenger airliners at one time. Taxies in Nanning are red or green in color. There are taxi stops along most of the main streets, where you can summon those which display a 'For Hire' sign. The charge for taxies depends on the different logos. For ordinary ones, the flat rate is CNY5-CNY6 for the first two kilometers (about 1.2 miles); then CNY1.2 for each extra kilometer. For those well equipped ones, the flat rate is CNY7 and distance surcharge is from CNY1.6 to CNY2. For all types of taxis, you will need to pay CNY1 for the fuel surcharge regardless how far you go.
