Nanchang Weather
Nanchang enjoys a mid-subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons, abundant rainfall, and sunshine. It’s a long, hot summer in Nanchang, making it one of the four hottest cites in China (the so-called “Four Furnaces”) along with Nanjing, Chongqing and Wuhan, but when winter comes, it cloaks the city in temperatures as low as 15 degrees centigrade. The annual average temperature is about 17 degrees, with average rainfall reaching approximately 1,600 mm. Compared to the extremes of summer and winter, spring and autumn are cool and pleasant, and these are the best times to visit Nanchang.
